BAR À LA LUNE
How about a drink in front of St. Stephen's Cathedral and two steps from the covered market? Ideally located at the foot of the place of worship that makes Metz proud, this bar is the oldest in the city. It offers a restaurant service at noon. At the choice, the dish of the day but also of the great classics (salads, tartare tartare and its fresh fries, interlaced…) and the specialties of Lorraine: It's a great place to stay in the city. It's a great place to stay. Since 1838, it is possible to sip a beer, wine, soda or coffee comfortably sitting on a large terrace as long as it is wide. Some afternoon ends in summer, it becomes even complicated to find a table so much the place is popular. And we know why! What is the point of asking the moon? You are there!
The bar shop: open daily except Monday, from 11 a. m. to 7 p. m. (depending on season).
This brand new boutique opened its doors in the summer of 2016. The white interior reveals Jaumont stone walls. It is the ideal place for regional specialties: There is the mirabelle (in all its forms: Jams, spirits…), baskets as well as gourmets, as well as a fine selection of wines and beers.
