If you're looking for the temple of beer in Metz, look no further than the statue of Saint-Louis. It's certainly not the saint who'll be serving you a drink, but here you are, right next to the bar. The atmosphere is festive, and it's hard to see any expressions of boredom on the terrace or in the bar. In fact, with 500 beers in stock, 200 ready to hit the tables and a dozen on draught, there's plenty to drink. Discover lagers such as Barbar, Chouffe and Averbode, and amber ales such as Délirium and Gulden Draak.
