For the 28th consecutive year, the city of Metz will be welcoming walkers from all over Europe to take part in its "illuminated walk": a ten-kilometre route, under the aegis of the FFSP (French Popular Sports Federation), through the city that allows visitors to admire the monuments that have been illuminated. Surprises and discoveries punctuate the route, as well as the city's Christmas markets where you will find the warmth and conviviality of the festive season. There are cash desks at the starting point of the walk to register directly on the spot throughout the day. Thousands of participants are expected, so allow for some waiting time.
