The Mirabelle plum festival takes place precisely at the time when the fruit is found on all the stalls and in many dishes. Throughout the week, specific animations honor the fruit, the yellow gold of the region. To close the festival, a magnificent fireworks display illuminates the sky over Metz and the Grand Corso de la Mirabelle with its floral floats highlights the Queen of the Mirabelle plum, elected beforehand. The Mirabelle plum is also honored in all restaurants.
