Do you love Lorraine folklore? Whether you're a retired enthusiast or a native of Metz with a thirst for authenticity and the picturesque, if you're an artist (dancer, musician, singer, tinkerer, dressmaker) or have a keen interest in the past and in passing on local traditions, then join us without further ado! Since 1923, the Lorrain folk group from Metz has been a benchmark in traditional entertainment, from St. Nicholas' Day to the Mirabelle plum festival! Ancient songs (including the famous En passant par la Lorraine...), historical re-enactments, float-building, school events and exhibitions of hand-crafted costumes from Lorraine and the surrounding region. A 100% authentic know-how at the service of the customs of yesteryear, with the greatest respect for ancestral popular traditions. From 5 to 77 years old, folklore is a family affair. A good-natured atmosphere guaranteed, for all generations!

In the past, to celebrate Saint-Michel's Day on September 29, oublies were distributed in the streets of Metz.
