CLUB ALEKHINE
Alekhine was a formidable Russian chess player, world champion from 1927 to 1935 and from 1937 to 1946. He was famous for the parties during which he sacrificed his parts to create attack positions. In Metz, Alekhine is a club with the fans of the checkerboard. The fous of kings and queens who do not want to spend their turn come here to learn parades and confront opponents of all levels. For young people, this happens on Saturday afternoon, for adults on Friday evening. Tournaments are often organized and the most talented players will even challenge their opponents in the regional finals.
