This modern, futuristic area of the technopole, which is already 30 years old, welcomes, among other things, the UFR of Higher Management Studies, the UFR of Basic Sciences applied (SCIFA), the Institute of Physics and Electronics (IPEM), the Center Lorraine Optical and Electronics (CLOES). On the services side, students will also find the continuing training service, a BU, a university residence and several restaurants. To relax and revise, the students enjoy a small body of water, the Symphony Lake, which gives a country appearance, in contrast to the futuristic aspect of the buildings. The site is also well served by line B of the Mettis tram.
