Administered by the City of Metz and the Regional Council of Lorraine, the National Orchestra of Lorraine is undoubtedly the region's best ambassador for whom to love classical music. Under the baton of the artistic director and permanent leader, Jacques Mercier, all musicians are enthusiastic audiences. That of Metz reaches the summits at the concerts given at the Arsenal or at the Opera Theatre in a full room that holds its breath before letting its happiness fade! No privileged directory. Alongside great works offered in prestigious concerts, the orchestra plays originality with creations and shows for the young public.
