HOTEL DE HEU
That is obvious! The hotel de Heu is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful gothic facades. Classified and protected by a restaurant policy, the building dates back to the fifteenth century. It was the property of Collignon III of Heu, a wealthy Echevine master of the city of Metz. The many carved elements are no longer counted, proof of limitless refinement, as evidenced by the moldings of the porch. On the first floor (said the noble floor at the time), there are trilobate windows. Finally, the inscription "Sainte-Anne" legible on the tympan proves the passage of Queen Anne of Austria, who stayed there in 1661.
Smart Tip: Do not hesitate to enter the courtyard, in order to better admire the sumptuous staircase on your left!
