THE WATER PLAN
The lake located in Metz, with a gym area and where children have fun on a large playground.
Metz's lake is a site appreciated by all and is home to the marina. With its red Japanese door, the place does not lack charm with the cathedral on the horizon. It can be reached via the Boulevard Poincaré or via the large (free) car park at the ice rink. A true call of nature that the Messins are eager to join at the first rays of sunshine. Around the lake, a tarred alley is a delight for roller skaters and cyclists. Children have fun on the large playground while parents can relax on the benches and grass. Rollerbladers and skateboarders can multiply their prowess on the large skatepark and team sports enthusiasts can have a blast playing football or basketball on the two urban fields next to the ice rink. There is also a gym area. When the weather is good, the lake is very popular with young people who settle there in groups. And then in the summer, every weekend at nightfall, Swan Lake is the scene of a fairy-tale sound and light show, which is extended with a late walk along the waterfront. Not forgetting the great Metz Plage event from mid-July to mid-August.
