A charming square with remarkable facades and terraces, symbol par excellence of medieval Metz, a place not to be missed.

The symbol par excellence of medieval Metz, Place Saint-Louis and its sixty or so arcades have imposed their commercial influence over the centuries... In the past, merchants and fairs came here in great numbers. By observing the facades, one can guess the different trades that occupied the stalls. Nowadays, it is the place to have a drink and a meal on one of the crowded terraces in summer or inside in winter. The inhabitants of Metz are particularly fond of this square whose charm has lasted through the ages... A place not to be missed.

Place à visiter à Metz
C'est l'une des plus grandes places de Metz et la seule avec des arcades et des caves en dessous. Cette place du Moyen Âge est d'influence italienne ! Elle abritait à l'époque les échanges de diffèrents produits ! Aujourd'hui, elle est l'une des places où est installée le marché de Noël ! À visiter absolument pendant les fêtes ! On peut y boire un vin chaud dr grande qualité ou y manger des huîtres toutes fraîches ! Je recommande 1000 fois !

Place charmante, aux allures de décor médiéval. Les arcades abritent de nombreux bars et restaurants (ambiance animée le soir !) et quelques boutiques sympathiques. Quelques événements durant l'année : marché de Noël, concerts, village associatif..

Magnifique place ! Peut-être l'une des plus belles de Metz. Les arcades donnent un charme à ce lieu, l'été les terrasses sont agréables et l'hiver on y retrouve un marché de Noël.
