A strategic point, Nitting is on the beautiful Voie Verte des Deux Sarres itinerary that links Sarrebourg to Abreschviller, in 18 km, along the Sarre Rouge canal, on the old towpath with its smooth asphalt surface. So from Nitting you can cycle, rollerblade or walk 9 km north to Sarrebourg or south to Abreschviller and its forest. Of course, you also have to count the return journey!
