EINHARTSHAUSEN CASTLE
Einhartshausen Castle, redesigned and renovated in Renaissance style by Count Palatine Georges-Jean de Vendenz.
The cradle of Phalsbourg, this medieval castle was built in 1390 under the aegis of Count Henri de Lutzelstein. Later, the building was remodeled and renovated in Renaissance style by Count Palatine Georges-Jean de Vendenz, founder of the city of Phalsbourg in 1570. In the 19th century, Vauban surrounded the castle in one of the bastions. Today, the building is accessible from the second floor. The castle is a stage of the discovery circuit.
