CIRCUIT DE LA CORNÉE DES RHÈTES ET FORÊT DE RHODES
The Rhodes Horn and Rhodes Forests circuit, for a beautiful walk, including a visit to the Anabaptist-Menonite cemetery.
Park in the village center. Part of the pond is called Cornée des Souches, stock in local dialect. The pond was enlarged between 1860 and 1866 during construction of the Houillères de la Sarre canal. The walk takes you around the campsite and through the reeds. Then you walk through the forest. Before returning to the starting point, visit the Anabaptist-Menonite cemetery. There are only three in Moselle. You'll find an explanatory panel.
