The Zang Forest trail offers an educational journey through the trees. The rule of the game is very simple. Get a brochure from the Saint-Avold tourist office, start at the Oak of Witches on the road to the Joan of Arc district, then follow the route. It should be noted that this pedunculated oak is one of the oldest forest trees in France, and for the anecdote, originally two trees grew and over time, they merged into one. Thanks to a brochure full of images, you will then discover a exotic forest and more than twenty different varieties of trees. This two-kilometre walk is accessible to everyone and can even be done with a stroller and young children. It was conceived by the Association for the Protection of Birds and Nature.
