THE NEUDELANGE FARM
A typical Lorraine farm, a site steeped in history in Saint-Hubert, worth a visit.
Visitors to the Cistercian abbey of Notre-Dame de Villers-Bettnach should be aware of this! Before you leave, we suggest you explore the surrounding villages, taking the road towards Aboncourt as far as Neudelange. Here, you'll find a typical Lorraine farmhouse in a delightfully bucolic setting. This listed site, with its monumental porch and wooden framework, bears witness to a rich historical past. Until 1147, it belonged to the lordly de Malberg de Faulquemont family. Subsequently, the widow Bruno de Malberg donated it to the abbey of Villers-Bettnach. At the time of monastic occupation, the site also included a tile factory and a mill.
