OLIGER
Oliger is one of the leaders in the earthenware woodstove market. As an inventor-manufacturer, Oliger is constantly innovating to provide more comfort with high-performance products, while remaining committed to the ancestral techniques used to manufacture ceramic wood stoves. Oliger is nowadays considered as a Living Heritage Company.
History. Located in Lorraine since its first creation in 1970, Oliger is the first exclusive manufacturer of ceramic stoves and radiators in France. The company stands out in the business by its size and the high level of its services in its two professions of ceramics and stove-heating.
All classic stoves such as the brand's darkly designed earthenware stoves are an economical and low-polluting heating solution thanks to their fast heating time for main dwellings but also for second homes that are not continuously heated. These two ranges of stoves combine high-performance technology (an efficiency of more than 78%) and very low pollution (with a CO of less than 0.3).
Oliger is the only manufacturer to equip its stoves with a Caloritube, a heating element that has many advantages to obtain the best performance. First of all, a coated tube allows the wood fire to fully express itself by conforming to its shape and obtaining a perfect heat exchange with the cast iron. This lively heat is then absorbed by the "Cérapâte". This invention by Oliger comes in the form of a natural padding complex based on crushed ceramic that provides the same accumulation power as 6 cm thick earthenware. The latter stores 65% of the tube heater's live heat to release it slowly and regularly, avoiding sudden temperature changes. The Cérapâte combined with the earthenware guarantees a fast heating.
Secondly, the double combustion, operated by the two air inlets, has the advantage of giving less charged fumes and improving the stove's efficiency.
The products. All the stoves in the range can be combined in a wide variety of finishes and colours for as many unique atmospheres. There are about a hundred models, traditional and contemporary, that can be modified and adapted to the wishes of customers.
