Chapel built of Vosges red sandstone overlooking Saint-Quirin, with Gothic choir stained glass windows
A cobbled path leads to this charming Vosges pink sandstone chapel, with its lovely views over the village and surrounding area. Perhaps erected as early as the 11th century, it has been extensively altered over the centuries. The tower and choir probably date from the 13th century. The nave has a flat ceiling, while the slightly elevated choir is vaulted with ogives resting on engaged columns decorated with foliage. The stained-glass windows, created at the end of the 19th century by master glassworker Victor Honer of Nancy, depict the life of Saint-Quirin.
