Close to the town center, with over 120,000 documents, the library occupies part of the Saintignon mansion, built in the 18th century. The Pierre Messmer collection, inaugurated in 2009, features a special collection of almost 3,500 documents, some of which are unique, rare and precious, having belonged to the former Prime Minister and Mayor of Sarrebourg. Comprising two vast sections, youth and adult, the library offers document loans, storytelling hours, literary cafés, workshops, online training courses and more.
