OLD CINEMA LE LORRAIN
A former cinema with a singular architecture, transformed into a theater, located in the center of Sarrebourg.
In the center of Sarrebourg, the former Le Lorrain cinema stands out for its singular architecture. Built in 1912, the building is part of the Art Nouveau movement, specificallythe VienneseSecessionstil. The imposing Vosges pink sandstone façade, punctuated by four pillars, faces the street. It features large openings on the first floor and high windows on the second floor. The façade ends elegantly with a play of corbelling and vertical lines. Since 2015, the building has been rehabilitated as a performance venue under the name Espace Le Lorrain.
