Picturesque street where stagecoaches from Nancy used to stop
Paved all along its length, the rue de la Charrue does not lack charm. A real link between the rue de France and the rue d'Or, it was once equipped with corner stones used to protect the houses when the carts passed by. Some of these stones are still visible in this street and in the rue de France. It was here that the stagecoaches coming from Nancy stopped. While walking around, perhaps one of the inhabitants will tell you the legend dating back to the 16th century that reveals the mystery surrounding this picturesque street!
