SAARLAND MILL
In the charming and picturesque village, apart from the houses of character and fountains, hides a small treasure: the mill of Sarre. This magnificent mill built in 1727 was renovated by the municipality in 1988. Originally, it consisted of three wheels with horizontal axis or «rotating», each turning could run one or two pairs of clusters. These wheels were built in wood. It was used in particular as an tan mill (bark powder to prepare the leather) and seed mill. Today, there is only one wheel still running. Take advantage of this getaway to discover the surroundings!
