Schorbach is a village located a few kilometres from Bitche. You will discover the work of the Moselle artist Joseph Pyrz, who took 20 years of work to complete the calendar. Carved in pink sandstone blocks and displayed on a 100m² wall, it represents 366 portraits of characters who have worked for peace, tolerance and fraternity in the world. You will recognize Abbé Pierre, Mother Theresa, Gustave Eiffel, Leonardo da Vinci, John XXIII, Robert Schuman, Charlie Chaplin... An absolutely amazing calendar to see, as well as the site, which offers you every day saints, quotes and famous people.
