MARIENFLOSS CHAPEL
This chapel, located on the edge of a small road in Sierck-les-Bains, in the direction of Montenach, offers an explosive calm in the Pays des Trois Frontières. Very rarely visited, it is nevertheless cared for with warmth by a small local association. If some people gather there because it is always a place of pilgrimage for the worship of Mary, others simply come here to enjoy a sweet moment of calm. Outside, you will discover a Way of the Cross carved on stone. Its name dates back to 1270, at that time the monastery was called "monastery of the stream of Saint Mary" or Marienfloss. Today, it remains the only vestige of a convent that is more than a thousand years old. A story to discover!
