Castle overlooking the Moselle valley, one of the most prized residences of the Dukes of Lorraine with loophole towers, animations

Built on a rocky promontory overlooking the Moselle valley, the castle offers a magnificent viewpoint from which to admire the picturesque surrounding streets. It is also one of the few ancient forts in the East that has kept its architecture almost intact. This castle was one of the favorite residences of the dukes of Lorraine. Today, in order to bring life and sparkle to this 15th century castle, beautiful events are organized such as the torchlight visit!

Hradu nič nechýba. Je výborne zrekonštruovaný a práce stále pokračujú. Dostáva sa mu pozornosti, ktorú si zaslúži. Expozícia je výborná, repliky zbraní aj reálne nálezy. Recepčná sa elegantne dorozumela anglicky. Slušný výber suvenírov.

Très beaux restes de ce château berceau des duc de Lorraine (avant Lunéville ou Nancy). Les ruines de ce château fort sont impressionnantes et surplombent un méandre de la Moselle. La ville de Sierck offre quelques rues et venelles d'époque ainsi que les vestiges d'une porte fortifiée.
Point de passage où destination d'une ballade, château et ville valent le détour.

Château non visité, fermeture à 16h, cela fait un peu tôt en cette saison ! Dommage. La ville n'est pas mise en valeur et pas très propre malgré un joli patrimoine.

Alte Burg Ruine aus dem 11/12 Jahrhundert, mit einige Exponate, leider war ein Teil nicht zu besichtigen wegen Renovierung, die Ruine steht gang oben auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf das Mosel Tal, oben kann man Picknicken und Hunde sind erlaubt, der Empfang an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, eine schöne Burg Ruine,
