At the time, Pauluskapelle, built in 1866, was a place of pilgrimage for the inhabitants of the glass villages around: Meisenthal, Montbronn, St Louis-lès-Bitche and Soucht. From the town where the chapel is located, small oratories hung on the trees marked the path to take them there. Pentecost and Easter Mondays were the busiest days.... At the moment, the association for the renovation of the Pauluskapelle organizes every second Sunday in June the Pauluskapelle festival, enough to reconnect with tradition and customs!
