PIMBO COLLEGE
The collegiate church of Pimbo, founded according to legend by Charlemagne, is a listed building.
The legend attributes to Charlemagne the foundation of a collegiate church. There, in the 12th century, on the way to Santiago de Compostela, was built the bastide-street of Pimbo, the oldest in the Landes. It is registered in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments. At the back of the building, in the small garden of the priest, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Pyrenees. The guided tour includes a botanical garden. A discovery trail on the site of the Coteau du Moulin de Pumbo allows you to discover the richness and diversity of the heritage.
