ST. RÉMY'S CHURCH
This building of Gothic style has the particularity of being a fortified church
A visit of the church is necessary... In Gothic style, the building has the particularity of being a fortified church. Between the 14th and 15th centuries, when it was used as a fortress, it suffered numerous enemy attacks. In 1444, a cannonball even sank into the wall of the church tower! Then the church was reworked many times during the 16th century, especially in the choir. The present portal was made in 1819, for the wedding of the mayor's daughter. As for the stained glass windows signed by Chapuis, they also date from the 20th century.
