HOUSE-MUSEUM OF THE SHEPHERD AND THE SHOEMAKER
Museum set up in the houses formerly belonging to the shepherd and the cobbler
Set up in the houses that once belonged to the shepherd and shoemaker, this museum presents these two trades. There is thus a reconstruction of the shoemaker's workshop and its evolution between the 16th and 19th centuries. The shepherd's kitchen and stove in the 17th century and the 18th century rural school are also on display. Further away, there are scenes of vigils, schools, the plague doctor's office, etc. Don't forget to visit the big 14th century tower! Every year in August, you can participate in the Renaissance festival. You will be able to taste dishes prepared in the tradition of yesteryear like a pig on a spit, and take part in various period activities.
