Romanesque church with a flamboyant Gothic portal on the north wall in Roquefort.
The church of Roquefort depended until 1665 on the abbey of Saint-Sever. The first church dates from the Romanesque period, only the chevet remains today. In the 15th century, a flamboyant Gothic portal was added to the north wall. It is flanked by the coat of arms of the town, three stars and three rocks. In the 16th century, the fortified bell tower was built. From the church, you can admire the ramparts and the Estampon, which collects the water from the wooded plateau. It is in Roquefort that the Douze is formed, with the upper Douze or Doulouze and the Estampon.
