Restaurant-auberge-bistrot gourmand to feast on canaille dishes in Sabres.

L'Auberge des Pins is a beautiful Landes mansion. For over 40 years, in the kitchens of this gastronomic restaurant, Michel Lesclauze has been cooking up treasures of flavors to delight gourmet palates: terrine of semi-cooked duck foie gras, langoustine ravioli with porcini mushrooms, refreshing pea soup, boned and stuffed squab, roast rack of lamb... The wine list is particularly noteworthy. L'Auberge des Pins is also a Bistrot Gourmand open from Wednesday lunchtime to Saturday lunchtime, for a feast of canaille dishes. Reservations recommended.

Disappointed in this restaurant which posts 2 star. Warm leaves something to be desired pity since the setting is nice. As for the cuisine, we took a dish (small) Landes for the entrance with 5 gables which brawled in the dish and one die foie gras that made skinflint. Then you sweetbreads with some tasty, a lamb bland and hard for dessert an egg with milk homemade but for a prohibitive price from €35! The service is very long, arrived in 12:00 leave a 14:25 and still it has had to rise to go to pay. Much too expensive à la carte dishes, certainly adequate but quite excessive financially for a restaurant of this category. , A relative disappointment for an address (too?) listed. No glass of water and a crenellated glass of wine. It serves 1 on the right to blow, 1 blow on the left... men are served in first and not women. during all meals we have beat us at the wasps I killed 5 of them, when we mention this inconvenience to the owner it did not look shocked. The poor waiters and waitresses are charming (E) the but surely not formed, a youthful service that does its best. Al final I strongly is not.
Lunched mid-June 2010, in the shade of ancient oak trees where a light breeze brought emanations of cuisine us... We enjoy itself! Both the welcome and quality mets, extraordinary foie gras candied duck, lamb with garlic, Montus and Cauhapé tasty. Disappointed tart plateaus and coffee very hubs.
Very nice restaurant re-examine this winter in front of the huge fireplace. Bravo mme and m. Lesclauze!
