LIBRARY OF THE DEPARTMENTAL MUSEUM OF ANCIENT AND CONTEMPORARY ART
Free consultation on site. Frequented by the students from the Ecole de l'image (Beaux-Arts), this small library that combines wonderfully modernity in design, and antiquity through its old exposed stones, is a true wonder for lovers of ancient and contemporary art. At the heart of the museum, on the 1st floor, it has more than 2,500 books and has an interesting collection of old books that concern archaeology, numismatics, popular imagery. Many recent books also offer a fairly complete picture of ancient and contemporary artistic creation, as well as the history of Vosges and Lorraine.
