The curious will quickly fall under the spell of this small historical and archaeological museum, installed in a medieval tower made of pink sandstone since 2003, in the heart of the Chapitre district. On three levels, the history of Épinal is carefully told. The museum is worth a visit for its main attraction: a large model of Épinal inspired by two works showing the town as it was in 1626. These are engravings by Jacques Callot and a painting by Nicolas Bellot.
