COURSE PARK
An English-style park with flowerbeds on the banks of the Moselle, a true haven of peace in Épinal.
Created in 1763 in the south of the city by Duke Stanislas, the Parc du Cours is located on the banks of the Moselle. It is a real haven of peace sheltered from the noise of the rue Gambetta. Some trees were cut down by the Germans in 1870 to repair their carriages, and have been replaced by new species. This English-style park also has 25 flowerbeds. This walk ends on the Champ de Mars, a large square which hosts the funfair and all the important events such as the Fête de la Musique or Rue et Cie.
