CHÂTEAU DE BOURLÉMONT
Bourlémont Castle with view on the surrounding villages, belonging to 3 families and dominating the Meuse valley
On the heights of the village of Frebécourt, you will find the castle of Bourlémont. On its promontory, this 12th century castle dominates the Meuse valley. You can admire the view on the surrounding villages, the basilica of Sainte-Jeanne d'Arc and the forests. It has undergone several transformations. Throughout history, the castle has belonged to three families: the Bourlemonts, owners from the 12th century until the end of the 14th century, then the Anglure family until the 18th century and finally the Alsace family who bought the castle in 1770.
