CHÂTEAU DE BOURLÉMONT

On the heights of the village of Frebécourt, you will find the castle of Bourlémont. On its promontory, this ^12th century castle dominates the Meuse valley. You can admire the view on the surrounding villages, the basilica of Sainte-Jeanne d'Arc and the forests. It has undergone several transformations. Throughout history, the castle has belonged to three families: the Bourlemonts, owners from the ^12th century until the end of the ^14th century, then the Anglure family until the ^18th century and finally the Alsace family who bought the castle in 1770.
