GERARDMER LAKE
Lake of glacial origin at 660 meters above sea level, ideal for dipping your feet in and around in a boat or pedal boat
Gérardmer lake, nestled in its enchanting valley, seduces us in the shade and smiles at us when we wake up. Like a pure gem under the starry sky, it reveals itself as an exquisite pearl under the gentle kisses of the sun," wrote Abel Hugo. Covering 115.5 hectares at an altitude of 660 metres, the lake's origins lie in glacial times. It should be noted, however, that the water temperature may not be suitable for everyone. Despite this, the experience of dipping your feet in its refreshing waters during the heat of summer is still enjoyable.
