THE UNITED PRODUCERS OF THE MONTFORT HILLSIDES
The Vosges' only wine cooperative is back in full swing
The phylloxera was the reason for the Vosges wine in 1895 when the vineyard occupied more than 6 000 ha of land. We did not talk about wine until 1999, when a cooperative was created. This one was created on the initiative of 17 winegrowers. Their objective was to save this threatened heritage. Today, the only wine cooperative in the Vosges has regained a beautiful vitality. So, don't pass through the region without tasting the blue wine and the fruity red wine
