ATELIER DU CHANT DU COUCOU
Pascal Duguet is a potter artist who works with sandstone clay. The workshop and exhibition room were created in 1981 in the heart of the Vosges forest. He works with stoneware by lathe and plate and uses two cooking modes. The raw sandstone is fired in a wood-fired oven for 30 hours at a temperature of up to 1,300°C. The gas oven is used for glazes. It provides more reliability, the temperature here reaches 1,320°C. Its catalogue offers many creations: jugs, vases, incense burners, bowls, dishes, cups... You can also come to attend pottery training courses and reveal the artist in you.
