If you are thinking of booking a chain hotel with a noisy car park for an overnight stay, this is a far better alternative near St Die - also excellent for longer stays in tranquil surrounding. The setting is stunning, with thickly wooded hills, excellent walks and total peace. Cosy rooms, roaring fires in winter, I also ate and excellent dinner for a reasonable price. Parking outside. Dog friendly, Breakfast for 10eu was a bit basic but overall a lovely place to stay
