Inn in a former convent offering traditional country cooking
A former convent in the 16th century, it is now a typical country inn named after the site and run for 33 years by Mr. Demange and Mrs. Chaboissier, who never fail to tell us anecdotes about this magical place... It is a traditional country cuisine sometimes cooked with wood fire in the large central fireplace. The plates are, as in the past, copious to the great despair of the fabulous desserts that await us to close the meal with a sweet note. You will be taken on a great journey out of time, at a time when monks ruled here as masters. Once supported, you can visit the rest of the building transformed into a museum where you can see a chapel, a reconstituted cordelier brother cell, a prison set up on the orders of King Louis XV, the cloister, the Saint-François fountain, the refectories and other temporary and permanent exhibitions

Edit : la dernière fois que nous y sommes allés pour faire découvrir à des amis, la carte avait changé, pas de fondue ... Il faut admettre que ce plat faisait tout le charme de l'endroit. Espérons que ce n'était que momentané ...
The slate appeared very simple.
Bravo for this unforgettable meal!
Le propriétaire , charmant et bourré d humour, se fera un plaisir de vous expliquer les lieux !!!
