ALTAR CHAPEL
Chapel of the Oultre in Mirecourt, housing a rich artistic furniture, a painted canvas, a painting and an altarpiece with 13 niches
Originally, the chapelle de la Oultre comprised a single nave: rectangular, simple and un-vaulted, lit by four small windows. It was remodeled in 1426. The entrance door is surmounted by a 15th-century architectural ornament. The chapel is also home to a wealth of artistic furnishings: a Virgin of Pity, a canvas painted in 1664 by Dominique Prot, a 17th-century painting depicting Saint Amable, and a meticulously carved 13-niche altarpiece depicting Christ and the apostles.
