VICTOR MANGEOL FACTEUR D'ORGUES

Victor Mangeol is an organ builder and harmonium restorer based in Neufchâteau. Passionate about music from an early age, he trained in cabinet-making and organ-building to acquire the skills necessary for his trade. He worked in various workshops in France, notably alongside Bernard Aubertin and Freddy Bauer, before setting up his own harmonium restoration workshop. Victor Mangeol's workshop welcomes instruments from the 18th century to the present day for repair, maintenance and restoration. He uses quality materials and respects traditional techniques, such as the use of animal glues and old screws and bolts. He also collaborates with craftsmen specialized in painting, cabinet-making and locksmithing for restorations. In addition to his work as a craftsman, Victor Mangeol shares his knowledge as a part-time teacher at the Centre de Formation d'Apprentis d'Eschau. He is also a member of the Association des Restaurateurs d'Art et Artisans du Patrimoine (ARAAP).
