ST. NICHOLAS CHURCH
Church with small and chapels founded by wealthy local families
Built on the slope of a cliff, where the castle of the Dukes of Lorraine once stood, this church replaced an older place of worship of which nothing remains. This edifice is made up of two churches superimposed by the slope of the site. Romanesque and narrow at the bottom and Gothic and wider at the top. The building shelters small chapels of the XVth century and the XVIth century founded by rich bourgeois families of the city. One can notice the arms of its founders on the side.
