A guided tour of the former law courts housed in the former church of the Couvent des Dames augustines in Neufchâteau.
Neufchâteau's former magistrates' court has been housed in the former church of the Couvent des Dames Augustines since 1801, thanks to an entrepreneur. This little gem is well worth a visit. Some elements are listed as Historic Monuments, such as the president's and judges' chairs, which date back to the 19th century. The court closed its doors for good on January 1, 2010. Guided tours are available. A great visit to make with the whole family during a visit to the city.
