Plombières-les-Bains, nicknamed the City of a Thousand Balconies, was made famous by Louis-Philippe I and Napoleon III who came to relax in the thermal baths in the 19th century. The town has been labelled as a "Village étape", "plus beaux détours de France", and a "station de tourisme 1". La petite ville Vosgienne a participé a l'histoire de l'EUROPE ! surtout dans l'histoire de la France et de l'Italie: la Savoie et Nice sont devenues française après les accords entre Napoléon III et le Royaume de Savoie, représenté par Camillo Benso Comte de Cavour, que ce sont déroulé au Pavillon des Princes a Plombières-les-Bains le 21 juillet 1858
