L'ATELIER DES GRÈS FLAMMÉS
Rambervillers's flame sandstone was created in 1900 by Alphonse Cytère, and their fame begins with the complicity and works of the artists of the School of Nancy. The Art Nouveau movement ensures their growth. SAPCR's cultural and Industrial Heritage, SAPCR (Anonyme Ceramic Products Society) produced epoxy sandstone pipes used in sanitation. Today, Julie Bernaudin (6 th generation) preserves this unique know-how of metallic metallic stoneware. From a local career, the land is used to shape traditional pieces, art nouveau pieces and the creations of Julie Bernaudin. Once dry, the pieces are arranged in a first oven for 10 hours. It is on this "cookie" that three layers of enamel are applied. Metal oxides are then placed in a second oven at 1 200 ° C. Sandstones offer a variety of colours making each piece unique. We are surprised by the shapes and reflections obtained through this technique. Vases, candleholder, book press, pitchers… a whole bunch of trinkets of great originality.
