ROMANIC CHURCH

Church that bears the marks of three architectural periods: 11th, 12th and 16th centuries in Relanges
It was first of all a clonesian priory founded in 1030. It allowed monks to pray for the "souls of the deceased faithful". There is nothing left of it today, but it was located south of the present church. Some vestiges of this period are still worth noting, such as the basement of the walls on the north aisle, the low columns of the porch with capitals and the gable of the facade. This church is by far the most harmonious Romanesque complex in the region with its cross-shaped shape. It bears the marks of three architectural periods: 11th, 12th and 16th centuries. It was in the 16th century that the building was strongly transformed with the addition of aisles and a nave.
