THE PINK CATHEDRAL
Roman Catholic cathedral, a remarkable architectural ensemble in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges.
Saint-Dié Cathedral in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is a Roman Catholic cathedral. With the church of Notre-Dame-de-Galilée and the cloister that connects them, it is a remarkable architectural ensemble, a true cathedral group, rich in successive contributions and different styles, unified by the characteristic colour of the pink sandstone of the Vosges. The Duke of Lorraine René II considered it to be the4th cathedral of his duchy. It has been protected as a historical monument since 1886. At the foot of the cathedral, a magnificent lime tree over 700 years old can be admired.

J'ai visité la cathédrale la première fois avec la famille.
Fan de la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg que je suis, je trouve cette édifice un peu massive.
