Celtic camp of La Bure, classified as a historical monument since August 6, 1982, with several walking routes of about 8 km

The Celtic camp of La Bure is one of the many fortified high sites bordering the valley of the Haute-Meurthe, in the Grand Est of France. The plateau is shared between the commune of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges and that of Hurbache at the western end of the Ormont massif. This site was discovered during 23 years of archaeological investigations from 1964 to 1986, and was classified as a historical monument on August 6, 1982. Several walking routes allow access to this site, which is located about eight kilometres north-west of the town centre of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges.

Lieu de randonnée bien sympathique. Certains endroits sont assez rudes à grimper mais ca en vaut le détour !
in nature, easy to discover the inhabitants before the Gallic ones in this area. It is best to go directly (steep) from the GR 533 by the south of promontoir.
