WOOD MUSEUM
Located in the heart of the Moselotte Valley between the Hohneck and Remiremont, the Bois Museum was truly created in 1989 thanks to a handful of volunteers. Located on the remains of an ancient mill dating back to the eighteenth century transformed into sawmill. In this museum you will discover the high iron, a huge vertical blade that is used to sawing trunks. You will also see the water wheel that is the central element of the sawmill because without it, no movement and no water. You will be taken away by explaining the utility of each sawmill tool. A moment out of time to share.
